Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Fettle. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Fettle ("we", "us") is operated by D-1 Digital Solutions Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202532472D). You can reach us at support@fettle.sh.
2. The service
Fettle is an uptime monitoring service: scheduled checks of your endpoints, alerting, and status pages, as described on our site. Feature availability depends on your plan as described on the pricing page.
3. Accounts and organizations
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by members you invite into your organizations. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
4. Plans, billing and payments
Paid subscriptions are sold and processed by our merchant of record, Polar, which handles payment, applicable taxes and invoicing. Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or yearly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Plan limits and prices are listed on the pricing page; we will give reasonable advance notice by email before a price increase affects an existing subscription, and we may change the limits of the free plan with reasonable notice.
5. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. To request one, email support@fettle.sh from your account email.
6. Acceptable use
Only monitor targets that you own or are explicitly authorized to probe. You must not use the service to stress-test, overload or attack systems, to scan or probe third parties without permission, to circumvent rate limits or plan restrictions, or to publish unlawful or misleading content on status pages. We may throttle, suspend or remove monitors or accounts that endanger the service or other users.
7. Your content
You retain all rights to the configuration and content you put into Fettle (monitor targets, names, status page content). You grant us the license needed to operate the service: to run your checks, store results, and — for status pages you choose to publish — to display that content publicly. Public status pages are public: anyone with the link can view them.
8. Availability
Reliability is the whole point of Fettle, and we operate the service with that standard in mind. Still, no service is immune to interruptions, and we do not currently offer a contractual SLA. For safety-critical systems, use Fettle alongside dedicated safeguards rather than as your only safeguard.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page; deletion stops all monitoring immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is capped at the amounts you paid us for the service in that period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
